Political Affairs Peace and Security deployed fact-finding mission to Liberia
The pre-election fact-finding mission to Liberia kicked-off its engagements with meetings with the ECOWAS Resident Representative, the Minister of Foreign Affairs, the Minister of Justice, Heads of Security Agencies and the National Electoral Commission (NEC) of Liberia to exchange views on the commission’s preparations for the 2023 Presidential and Legislative polls.
The mission was led by Prof. Attahiru Jega, the former Chairman of the Independeant National Electoral Commission of Nigeria
